Cabinet

This exhibition displaced the slide collection currently held–and currently in the process of being decommissioned–by the Department of Art History & Archaeology at the University of Maryland to the Laboratory Gallery exhibition space in the Studio Department. The slide collection was formerly the shared property of both academic departments, before they split apart. The installation was an attempt to make the collection of images (and their containers) available to the Studio Department again, before the collection was completely decommissioned. The exhibition was curated by Cecilia Wichmann. A musical soundtrack by composer William Kenlon accompanied the exhibition.
